Azimik is an oral version of Azithromycin available in capsules form. Azithromycin has relatively broad antibacterial activity bacteria. It inhibits some Gram-positive bacteria, some Gram-negative bacteria, and many atypical. Azimik (Azithromycin) tolerability and efficacy is proven in variety of bacterial infections. Azithromycin (Azimik) is on the World Health Organization's list of Essential Medicines, the most important medications needed in a basic health system.

Indications:

Azimik (Azithromycin) is indicated for the treatment of URTIs, LRTIs, CAP, AECB, SSTIs, Typhoid, Otitis media, PID and STD. It is also used as a sequential therapy after IV Azithromycin (Zithrax).

Dosage Guidelines:

The recommended dosage of Azimik (Azithromycin) is 250 mg or 500 mg once daily depending upon the severity of infection.

Availability:

Azimik (Azithromycin) is available as 250 mg strength capsule in single pack of 1X 10 S blister strips.
